Chaotic-Draw-Along

Professional artist & illustrator Anthony Wheeler has a Twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/anthonywheelerart. Where he streams tutorials and participation draw-alongs. Ever Friday a multitude of prompts are voted on and the winning prompt is drawn. Viewers are encouraged to participate and draw along with their interpretation of the chaotic prompt chosen. On this page you will find the pen & ink illustrations that I have created thus far for Anthony Wheeler's Chaotic-Draw-Along. I hope you enjoy them.

HAUNTED DOLLHOUSE

May 29th, 2026

#1 My first chaotic-draw-along. The prompt was haunted dollhouse. Here is my design. Unfortunately my colored ink pens had not yet arrived so I used a photo-shop program to add color to the image. Raggedy Ann, Andy, and Teddy are exploring an abandon haunted dollhouse, when Raggedy Ann hears a noise - OOPS!

FAIRY TALE MUGSHOT

June 5th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #2. The prompt was Fairy Tale Mugshot. It was determined during the voting process that along with fairy tales, that nursery rhymes could be used as well. Here is my nursery rhyme mugshot of Little Jack Horner. Jack is now a teenager and was arrested while breaking and entering into a pie shop to steal Christmas pies. He might still be proud of his self, but he's not such a good boy anymore.

* From this point forward all the images you see will be created using Ohuhu brand alchol markers.

UNICORN LUMBERJACK

June 12th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #3. The prompt this week was Unicorn Lumberjack. So, of course I went with Lumbering Jack the Unicorn. I mean, what's better than soaking up the sun with some libations, all while sans pants?

MONSTER MAKEOVER

June 19th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #4. The prompt this week was Monster Makeover. Ironically the prompt was given by my wife. I asked my wife prior to the stream if she had any ideas for a chaotic prompt. Her response was how about monster makeover and as luck would have it, the prompt was chosen by the online participates. So, here we are Frankenstein's monster being polished up and fitted for a new suit by the Keebler Haberdasher Suit Company.

SUPERHERO SIDE HUSTLE

June 26th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #5. The prompt this week was Superhero Side Hustle. Unfortunately this one got away from me a bit. I wasn't happy with the finished Hulk character, however I will continue to post the weekly chaotic-drawing-along no matter the outcome. Here is the Hulk working his side gig as an art studio model. Hope you enjoy.

TOO DARN HOT

July 3rd, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #6. The prompt this week was Too Darn Hot. I went through several ideas, but unfortunately before I could submit them another chaotic draw alonger would submit the idea. I finally settled on this one. It's an Ode to Lawrence Of Arabia. The Bedouin is crossing the Nafud desert until he reaches the Sun's Anvil and decides, forget it, it's too darn hot and turns around.

CRYPTID COOK-OFF

July 10th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #7. The prompt this week was Cryptid Cook-Off. I chose two cryptid creatures for this chaotic-draw-along. The first is Bigfoot as the chef doing the cooking, and the second is a kraken being cooked as the meal. It's the 5th Annual Kraken Cook - enjoy.

BEE PARADE

July 17th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #8. The prompt this week was Bee Parade. I think this one was pretty straight forward. It can be viewed as perhaps a bee pride parade or maybe a circus parade with bees as the characters - Strongman, Clown, Lion, and a little pint sized bee. however you chose to view this illustration, I hope you enjoy the Bee Parade.

TELEVISION FOR A HEAD

July 24th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #9. The prompt this week was Television for a Head. On this one, I went with my first thought - an old diving helmet. It reminded me of a television. This one is not quite as cartoon like as some of the other draw-alongs, but I think I got the job done. After I was finished, I kinda wish I would have used cool colors for this one, but c'est la vie. Enjoy

MYSTERIOUS CLOWN BOX

July 31st, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #10. This week's prompt Mysterious Clown Box. I decided that this week I would go with a Sunday Comics feel to the piece. No matter where you are from kids will always be kids. Even intergalactic children have trouble listening to the parents. Enjoy

SPOOKY TRIPLETS

August 7th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #11. The prompt, Spooky Triplets. This week's offering is an homage to the slasher films of the eighties. What's more fun than a triple dose of well dressed, knife wielding, jack o' lanterns, ready to carve up the local teens. Enjoy

SHOE DRAGON

August 15th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #12. This week's prompt was Shoe Dragon. Being somewhat of a rebel or maybe just hooked on phonics, I changed it up this week and went with Shoo Dragon! Unfortunately, sometimes you get more than what you bargained for if you're not careful. Yikes! - Enjoy.

GERIATRIC BARBARIAN

August 21st, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #13. This week's prompt was not my favorite and the drawing is somewhat lacking in inspiration. But, nevertheless, here is Ragnar the geriatric barbarian lounging in the park. Spending his final days feeding the pigeons and squirrels.  Hopefully, he still remembers the days of yore, plundering villages along the shorelines. Enjoy!

QUESTIONABLE FISH TANK

August 31st, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #14. This week's prompt was pretty straight forward. My first and only thought was a toilet. So, here is little Billy pouring his goldfish into the family toilet. While Butternut his cat looks on, waiting for his moment to pounce. Enjoy!

STREET-FIGHTING OWLS

September 4th, 2026

Chaotic-draw-along #15. I went literal with this week's prompt and drew a pair of street-fighting owls. It's a real dustup, with Lucky Boom Boom Haymaker landing the knockout punch, and the crowd goes wild! Except perhaps for the alligator. I think he's just there waiting for lunch. Enjoy!
